Welcome to the 2012 blog for a competitors view of the 2012 Canowindra Challenge.  After the success of last years blog I have decided to give it another go to help you all stay in touch with whats happening during the event.

Looks like a cracker start to the event this weekend with a couple of prize flights on Sat and Sun with the niteglow for the event on Sat night.  All accomodation around the town and surrounding towns is booked out so there will be a HUGE crowd. 

Weather is looking perfect through till about Thursday with the winds turning more northerly later in the week and we will have to see how that plays out. 



I have been told the Royal hotel has put on extra bar staff to accomodate the balloonists.  Actually I think this is mostly for my crew, but its good to support the local economy!
